During my recent business trip to Gijon, I had the opportunity to stay at the Don Manuel hotel. Chosen by my director, this hotel proved to be an excellent choice. The first thing that impressed me was the range of recreational amenities available. The spa tub was particularly enjoyable and provided a relaxing way to unwind after a long day of meetings and work. The hotel truly understands the importance of providing a well-rounded experience for its guests.
Not a place for couples.

We had an amazing romantic escape! the hotel was in a perfect downtown location, just steps away from all the shops and nice restaurants. We were surprised by the free continental breakfast, which was great! the staff was super friendly and helpful at all times. Plus, the room was very comfortable and clean with soft bedding and towels. We also loved that there was a coffee machine and mini-fridge.
We were a little disappointed that there was no view from our window, and we could hear some street noise. the elevators were a bit slow, but at least they worked.

Great location! The hotel is situated in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore all the attractions on foot. The staff was friendly and provided helpful recommendations. The check-in and check-out process was quick and efficient.
The hotel's rooms were small and outdated. Unfortunately, noise from nearby buildings and other guests was a major issue, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

The terrace offered a lovely space to unwind and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The hotel also had fantastic leisure facilities, including beach access and free Wi-Fi.

The hotel is well-situated in a coastal city, providing easy access to the beach. the hotel decor was cozy and warm, which was perfect for the Christmas season. We appreciated that the hotel provided Christmas decorations in the common areas to set the mood. Finally, the hotel staff was quite helpful throughout our stay despite the busy holiday season.
One of the major downsides of the hotel was that the room we stayed in was quite small and cramped. the toiletries provided were not great quality, which was a bit disappointing.

I had a great stay at this hotel located in the heart of the city. Everything was within walking distance including the harbor. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They were always available to answer any questions I had at any time of the day. The hotel was also very clean and had great facilities including a convenient kitchen area for guests.
Nothing I didn't like to be fair.

The location of this hotel is unbeatable - close to everything downtown and right by the harbour. the Paseó, bars, and restaurants are only steps away. while the location is excellent, the rest of the hotel leaves much to be desired. the room was old, dark, and not cozy, and the bathroom was uncomfortable with a shower in the tub. the room smelled of sewer from time to time. the staff were competent and professional, and the price was fair to middling. the hotel could have been better.
The hotel lacked modern facilities and did not provide a comfortable stay.
